RAKCSS Board of Directors held its 4th 2017 Meeting on 30 October 2017 and was attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Al Shayeb Al Naqbi (Chairman), Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Khalifa (Deputy Chairman), and members H.H. Shaikh Omer Al Qasimi, Mr. Walid Tabanji, and Executive Director Dr. Ibrahim Akoum. After welcoming the members, the Chairman asked the Executive Director to present the main items on the agenda and issues discussed included the tasks completed during the first two quarters of the year, including progress in producing the time series of national accounts, investment, CPI, and the extractive industry data. The Board also discussed the upcoming tasks, namely the labor market survey and the health survey conducted with the Ministry of Health. Board members stressed the importance of compliance with international standards and sound methodologies.
