A RAKCSS delegation visited The Statistical Center of Abu Dhabi (SCAD) and Dubai Statistical Center (DSC) to explore potential areas of cooperation. The delegation included Dr. Akoum, RAKCSS Executive Director, and Dr. Taleb Healy, Economic Advisor, along with secion heads Hayfa Shalank and Fatema Tenaiji. This visit was intended to mainly get acquainted with the operations of these centers and examine ways to benefit from their experiences to help RAKCSS develop its capabilities as a nascent statistical center. During the visits, it was agreed that greater coordination and cooperation is needed at the federal level to promote statistical work and statistical awareness.
