Ras Al Khaimah Statistics Center for  is a government organization that was created under Emiri Law No. (2) of 2016, aiming to promote statistical work in Ras Al Khaimah and to provide statistical data and information accurately, transparently, and professionally in line with the best international standards and to strive to achieve the objectives and implement the competencies provided for in the law in creation thereof.

Ras Al Khaimah Statistics​ Center issues monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual publications such as the monthly bulletin and the statistical yearbook.

9. What are the statistical surveys carried out by the center and its periodicity?

Ras Al Khaimah Statistics​ Center conducts establishments and households' surveys. Among the most important surveys that the center implements are annual economic survey, quarterly economic survey, annual foreign investment survey, monthly consumer price index survey, annual labor force survey, household expenditure and income survey every 5 years, and the center also implements other surveys in cooperation with governmental authorities.

 

10. What are the methods followed by Ras Al Khaimah Statistics​ Center in collecting data?

The center collects data in two methods:

The first method: collecting data from individuals through field work  visits or by sending emails to establishments with a link where they can answer by themselves the questions of the survey and provide the requested data.

The second method: through the administrative data collected by the center in coordination with various government departments and institutions, semi-governmental and private companies.

 

11. How can I find out the identity of the fieldworker?

• Wearing a uniform - a jacket bearing the logo of the Ras Al Khaimah Statistics​ Center.

• He introduces himself by mentioning his name and the name of the entity he represents, presenting his identification card and stating the reason for his arrival and the type of survey or poll he is conducting.

​If the previous conditions are met, kindly cooperate with the enumerator and give him the required data correctly, as this will affect the accuracy of the results that will be provided by these surveys, which are adopted for sound decision making., knowing that all data collected is treated with strict confidentiality as stipulated by law .

 

12. Can individuals or companies request the implementation of a statistical survey?

Ras Al Khaimah Statistics​ Center​ carries out statistical surveys for the benefit of government agencies only.
