1% growth in RAK inflation during the first quarter, 13/06/2017
Ras Al Khaimah Centre for Statistics & Studies (RAK CSS) its first report on the consumer price index in the Emirate for the first quarter 2017. The report shows the CPI has increased by 1% compared with the fourth quarter of 2016. The report reveals that the main factors for this is the increase of item “Other goods and services” by nearly 9.7%, Transportation (3.14%), and Furniture and household goods (1.2%). As compared with the same quarter of 2016, the index increased by nearly 2.3% driven mainly by an increase of “Other goods and services” by 12.2%, and Restaurants and Hotels by 7.3%.
