Ras Al Khaimah Center for Statistics and Studies held the first meeting of its Coordination Committee of 2018 which discussed a number of subjects, namely, the year’s survey program that includes federal and local surveys, in addition to RAKCSS efforts to improve statistical work and data quality, as well as the applications utilized to integrate geographic, spatial and statistical information. The Committee comprise members from various economic sectors in RAK and public and private sectors. During the meeting, some members suggested cooperation projects and using certain applications of the center to assist them in their work, an issue that was welcomed by Dr. Ibrahim Akoum, Executive Director of the Statistics Center.
