Ras Al Khaimah Center for Statistics and Studies participated in the United Nations World Data Forum 2018, which was hosted by United Arab Emirates in Dubai in its second session with the participation of a group of experts and specialists in the field of data and statistics. Besides contributing to the forum sessions, RAKCSS presented its initiatives in the use of modern technologies in the statistical work, which aims to raise the quality of production of statistics in RAK. At the closing ceremony, Dr. Ibrahim Akoum, Executive Director of the center, received an honorary shield from Mr. Abdullah Lootah, head of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA) in the UAE who organized the forum, in appreciation for the center’s contribution to the success of the forum.
