In July 2019, Ras Al Khaimah Center for Statistics and Studies completed the Ras Al Khaimah Survey Platform project. This project is considered the first of its kind in the region, with its multiple features, functions and options. The shift to the use of this platform is a quantum leap in the statistical work in RAK.
Its adoption contributes to improve the overall quality of the statistical production in terms of easy design of the questionnaires, enhancing the accuracy, quality and speed of obtaining data, reducing the cost and shortening the time for carrying out surveys, managing surveys, and maintaining the confidentiality and security of data.
The platform provides the ability to design and build electronic questionnaires and opinion polls and collect data via the Internet or via tablets within a short period and without the need for software expertise.
Ras Al Khaimah Surveys platform is a complete digital transformation of the process of statistical data collection and management of data collection teams. This project contributed to a significant saving in the costs of implementation of statistical surveys.
Since the launch of the project, the platform has actively contributed to the completion of the surveys of the Ras Al Khaimah Center for Statistics and Studies in order to implement the center's work program in addition to serving other government departments with the aim of achieving Ras Al Khaimah 2030 strategy.
